Care givers at a facility I work at are having difficulty turning a fully dependent resident ( about 70 kg )on a shower trolley. They need to turn the resident to complete washing and dressing etc .Slide sheets do not work very well when they get wet. Purchasing a wider shower trolley would cause difficulties getting through doorways . Would be grateful for any ideas on this.

Hi Ann, You could use a twin turner sling if you able to Velcro the strap to the side of the trolley and use the hoist to turn the patient.
Other than that two staff could stand at one side and turn the patient/client while the third member completes the hygiene,
    Thanks,
    Angela
